Instructions for Your Telehealth Visit
Access The Patient Portal
- To login to the patient portal please visit advdermatology.ema.md.
- If you need to create a login for the patient portal, please use the emailed link or QR code provided by the practice team. Create a unique password within 72 hours of receiving the link.
Telehealth On The APPatient App
- Your telehealth visit will take place in the APPatient app. Download the APPatient app from the app store and log in using your patient portal login information.
- 5- 10 minutes before the appointment time, open the APPatient app and navigate to Appointments and then Video Visit.
Helpful Tips for Your Telehealth Visit
- Be sure to be in a quiet, well-lit room during the appointment for best communication with the provider.
- When the provider activates the call, a message stating "Your video visit is ready" will appear in the Video Visit tab. Select "Join Video Visit" to enter the appointment call.
- When your visit has concluded, select the red "Hang Up" button.
- You may exit the APPatient app at this time.
